Gabriella is currently working towards her bachelors degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology with a minor in Public Health at the University of South Florida. She is a third year student from Jacksonville, Florida, interested in pursuing an MD/PhD degree after her undergraduate studies. Her interest in bacteria and it’s pivotal role in medicine, along with antibiotic resistance started when she took both Microbiology and Microbiology lab. While volunteering in Dr. Eswara’s lab, she hopes to learn more about bacteria related issues that are impacting today’s world, while mastering her laboratory techniques. During her spare time she enjoys exercising, watching science documentaries, and traveling.
