After graduating from F.W. Springstead High School Amanda has been working towards a bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Public Health here at USF. She is a fourth year and a Peer Mentor Lead for the Honors College. She aims to finish her studies and attend medical school, in order to hopefully pursue a career in either gynecology and obstetrics or emergency medicine. She has acquired an interest in microbiology after seeing cases of MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) presented while shadowing in the Emergency Room. In what little free time she has, she enjoys hiking, snorkeling, and reading.
